Congratulations to Ryan Fatica (Seal) for moving through and passing his Master's thesis defense.
His committee members—JP Jones and Leerom Medovoi— and I were so very happy to be able to participate in such a brilliant discussion of insurrectionary theory, prison abolition as praxis, site + event ethnographies, and the politics of war.
Ryan is now a doctoral student in SGDE where his work, contributions, and collaborations will continue.
